1.) Why?
I choose making a mouse because, when we were first drawing our ideas I thought of doing a mouse. It worked out when drawing the mouse it was a perfect idea to fit the whistle shape. Plus, I thought it would be cute to make a mouse.
2.) Problems and Solutions?
Problems I had was making the ramp. I got advice from other classmates and I couldn't seem to get the ramp right so I got advice from Mrs. Ruggles. When she helped me it solved my ramp problem. Another problem I had was keeping track of how many coats of glaze I painted onto my whistle. If I ever made another whistle my solution would be to try to keep track of how many layers of glaze I used.
3.) Happy? Why or Why Not?
I am absolutely happy with my whistle. Overall the glazing looks pretty good and the whistle sounds very strong and clear. If I could do this project again I would!
